Description
The Weissburgunder Terlaner from the Muri-Gries winery is a Pinot Blanc cultivated in the vineyards of Appiano, located between 420 and 500 meters above sea level on calcareous gravel soils. This South Tyrolean wine best expresses the vocation of the territory, with an elegant, full, and mineral style.
The grapes are vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Maturation takes place partly in steel tanks and 20% in wooden barrels, for a period of about five months, to balance freshness and complexity.
It appears bright straw yellow in color with greenish reflections. The nose offers an intense bouquet of ripe apples, citrus, hazelnut, and white pepper. The sip is full, elegant, and creamy, with a persistent finish and a pronounced minerality that makes it juicy and fresh.
It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, white meats, and fresh cheeses.
