Description

Alois Lageder's Alto Adige Riserva Lagrein Conus was born in vineyards, organically and biodynamically, located on the South Tyrolean hills around Magrè on the Wine Route, in the province of Bolzano.

It is produced exclusively with Lagrein grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. After a soft pressing of the grapes, fermentation takes place spontaneously in steel. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months partly in steel and partly in French Allier and Nevers oak barrels, before being bottled.

Lagrein Riserva Conus has a ruby red color. The nose opens with enveloping plum aromas, enriched with notes of licorice and chocolate. On the palate it is powerful and structured, with elegant tannins and a pleasantly persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany game-based first courses, it is ideal in combination with roasts and aged cheeses.
