The Superior IPA of the Zago brewery

The Superior IPA is an amber beer from the Zago brewery, founded in 1978. The brewery produces non-pasteurized or filtered craft beers. The label is dedicated to the Castello district, the largest in the city of Venice. Among its symbolic places are the Arsenale, the church of San Giovanni in Bragora and Palazzo Grimani.

How is Superior IPA produced?

It is a high fermentation amber Indian Pale Ale, with natural refermentation in the bottle.

Eyes, nose and taste

Superior IPA is a complex and contemplative beer, characterized by a vegetal and floral bouquet (peony, bergamot and lime) derived from the hops used. Its taste is fresh and delicate, characterized by bitter notes.

What do you combine the Superior IPA with?

It goes very well with savory and spicy dishes, both meat and fish, such as bruschetta with anchovies, cod or game.
