Teroldego Rotaliano DOC Pini 2013 Zeni
Description
The Teroldego Rotaliano Pini di Zeni was born in vineyards located in the municipality of San Michele all'Adige, in the province of Trento.
It is produced exclusively with Teroldego grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand at the end of September. Fermentation takes place in steel vats for 10 days. After the malolactic fermentation the wine rests for 24 months in small wooden barrels and for a further 6 months in steel, before being bottled.
Zeni's Teroldego Rotaliano Pini is characterized by a deep and deep ruby red color. The nose opens with intense aromas of raspberry and blackberry typical of the variety. On the palate it is full-bodied, sapid and robust, with a pleasant hint of chocolate.
Perfect to accompany roast red meat and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
