Description

What type of wine it is

Kikè by Fina is a white wine from Western Sicily, made from Traminer Aromatico and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Classified as Terre Siciliane, it stands out for its intense aromatic profile. The winemaking process ensures a smooth drinkability that enhances the original grapes. The wine matures in stainless steel tanks and is then further aged in the bottle, creating a balanced and precise character, true to its territory.

Where it comes from

These grapes come from vineyards in Western Sicily, located within the Terre Siciliane denomination area.

How it’s produced

The clusters are handpicked and carefully selected in September, ensuring only pristine fruit is used. This is followed by temperature-controlled fermentation, a technique that preserves the aromatic bouquet and purity of the must. After fermentation, the wine rests briefly in stainless steel tanks, then completes its maturation with a further three months’ bottle aging, harmonizing the flavor profile.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it displays a bright pale straw-yellow color. The nose reveals an elegant and fresh aromatic bouquet, with clearly defined varietal notes. On the palate, it is harmonious and refined, offering a satisfying, smooth progression. The tasting experience concludes with a clean, consistent finish that echoes the aromas, confirming its distinct vividness of flavor.

Food pairing

Naturally suited for food, it pairs perfectly with seafood risottos, enhancing their flavors with elegance. It complements the texture of crispy fried fish by refreshing the palate thanks to its light body. Finally, it is ideal alongside grilled fresh fish, where its aromatic flair interacts naturally for a balanced and lively tasting experience.

When to serve

This label is perfect for those seeking a fresh, precise glass, ideal for enjoying with seafood dishes. Its overall harmony guarantees remarkable versatility, making it suitable for a complete fish-based menu and offering a consistently pleasant sip from first to last taste.
