Description

The Calanìca Chardonnay of the Duca di Salaparuta winery is born from vineyards located in western Sicily, planted on soils mainly of siliceous-clayey nature, in a climate made of hot and dry summers, with significant temperature variations between day and night in the summer season.

Manual harvest at perfect ripeness, after August. After the soft pressing of the grapes, the must ferments in steel for over 10 days at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C. It matures for over 2 months in contact with its yeasts.

Brilliant straw yellow with greenish reflections, it has an intense and elegant perfume with complex fruity notes. In the mouth it is distinctly fresh, lively and with good persistence.

Magnificent aperitif, it can be appreciated in the company of recipes based on fish or seafood.
