Description

Terre Siciliane Merlot by Feudi del Pisciotto was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Niscemi, in the province of Caltanissetta.

It is produced only with Merlot grapes, harvested manually in the last 7 days of August. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 10 months in oak barrels and for another 8 months in bottle before being released on the market.

The Felot del Pisciotto Merlot has an intense red color. The nose opens with delicate vegetable aromas, enriched with hints of blackberry and spices. On the palate it is enveloping and persistent, pleasantly long in the finish.

Excellent for enhancing roasts, both red and white meats, it is recommended to accompany tasty and mature cheeses.
