Description
The Sicily Zibibbo Pietranera of the Marco de Bartoli winery was born in the Samperi district, in Marsala, in the heart of western Sicily.
It is produced exclusively with Zibibbo grapes, harvested only by hand during the first week of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine ages partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in barriques for 6 months, before being bottled.
It is characterized by a deep straw yellow color. The nose opens with an intense and complex aromatic bouquet, enriched with pleasant notes of citrus and flowers. On the palate it is fresh, pleasantly aromatic and with a long slightly bitter finish.
Perfect to accompany fish, shellfish and seafood dishes, it is ideal in combination with raw fish and sushi.
