Description

The Tuscany Pinot Grigio La Solatia di Ruffino was born in the vineyards located on the La Solatia estate, near the small medieval village of Monteriggioni.

It is produced exclusively with Pinot Grigio grapes, which undergo a soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C for 10 days. Subsequently the wine is refined with the bâtonnage technique in the same containers at a temperature of 8 ° C.

It is characterized by an intense straw yellow color. The nose opens with intense fruity notes of pears and green plums, enriched with pleasant mineral notes. On the palate it is pleasantly fruity, with a great balance between the acid component and the soft one, which makes the whole definitely harmonious.

Perfect to accompany fish and shellfish dishes, it is ideal in combination with white meats and fresh cheeses
