Description
This Tuscan white wine is produced by the Vallepicciola company from the Poggione vineyard, on the hills of Pievasciata, in Castelnuovo Berardenga.
It consists of 100% Chardonnay grapes, which are vinified half in cement and half in tonneaux. Aging takes place in barriques for 12 months.
In the glass the wine has an intense straw yellow colour. The nose has aromas of apricot, peach, pineapple and passion fruit. The sip is rich and elegant.
The wine is excellent with grilled swordfish and white truffle.
