Toscana IGT Il Morino 2014 Vignamaggio
Description
Tuscany Il Morino di Vignamaggio was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Greve in Chianti, in the province of Florence.
It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, harvested and selected by hand in September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 10-12 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 9 months in steel or cement before being bottled.
Morino di Vignamaggio is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with intense aromas of black cherry and blueberry, enriched with floral notes. On the palate it is fresh and lively, with soft tannins and a pleasant spicy aftertaste.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
