Description

The Rosso Rosso Guidalberto of Tenuta San Guido was born in vineyards located in the splendid setting of the Tuscan Maremma.

It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, harvested from the beginning of September until the middle of October. The grapes are fermented in steel vats at a controlled temperature of 30-31 ° C and undergo a maceration process that lasts for 15 days, for both vines. The wine is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, and to a lesser extent American, then rests in the bottle for a further 3 months.

It is a wine with a bright ruby red color. The nose opens with pleasant hints of berries, enriched with notes of coffee and nuances of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it is full and powerful, with lively tannins and a long and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany red meats, it is ideal in combination with first courses based on meat sauce, game and aged cheeses.
