Toscana IGT Rosso Tramonto D'Oca 2010 Poggio Bonelli
Description
The Rosso Rosso D'Oca Tuscany of Tenuta Poggio Bonelli was born in vineyards located in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the heart of Chianti Classico, in the province of Siena.
It is produced exclusively with Petit Verdot grapes, harvested entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C for around 18-20 days. Subsequently the wine is refined for a period of 3 years.
Il Tramonto D'Oca is characterized by a ruby red color, with garnet hues. The nose opens with intense aromas of red fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of pepper, cinnamon and tobacco. On the palate it is elegant, with protruding tannins and a warm and pleasantly savory finish.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
