Description
The Toscana Rosso Villa Boscarello of Tenuta Pometti was born in vineyards located on the Sienese hills.
It is made exclusively with Merlot grapes, harvested during the second half of September and left to ferment and macerate for about 20 days. Aging takes place in French oak barriques for a period of 16-18 months.
Villa Boscarello is a wine with an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of red berry fruit and delicate notes of pepper. In the mouth it is well structured, full-bodied, with a good persistence.
Ideal in combination with grilled white and red meats, it goes well with poultry and rabbit. Also perfect with medium to high seasoned cheeses.
