Description

The Trentino Superiore 4V Quattro Vicariati of Cavit hails from the hills adjacent to the Adige river, in the municipalities of Mori, Rovereto and Avio, in the province of Trento.

It comes from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes, the harvest of which is done strictly by hand. After fermentation which takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, the wine ages in barriques and small oak barrels for 18 months.

It has a bright ruby red colour. The nose reveals enveloping balsamic notes, enriched with hints of plum and blackberry. In the mouth it shows a great balance and soft, pleasantly spicy in the finish.

Ideal to be served in the company of first courses with savoury sauces, it is ideal for pairing with grilled meat and aged cheeses.
