Description
Lungarotti's Umbria Chardonnay was born in the Fattoria del Pometo, located in the Perugian municipality of Torgiano, in the heart of Umbria.
It is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand at the end of August. Fermentation takes place, with a short cold maceration, in stainless steel tanks, and then refined on the fine lees until bottling.
Chardonnay has an intense straw yellow color with light greenish reflections. The nose opens with fruity notes of banana, peach and peanut. On the palate it is well structured and concentrated, with a fresh fruity persistence and a pleasantly bitter finish.
Ideal to combine with appetizers, soups in broth, fish-based first courses and souffles.
