Description

The Valle d'Aosta Syrah DOC Côteau La Tour has a marked character of alpine freshness, which distinguishes it in the Syrah panorama.

Syrah grapes, harvested by hand in the steeply sloping vineyards located in La Tour di Aymavilles, are the basis of this intense and complex red, aged for 12 months in 300-liter French oak barrels.

A Valdostan red of great elegance, which combines the spicy notes typical of Syrah with fruity and slightly toasted hints, and which on the palate is fine and complex, and at the same time savory and fresh.

Ideal with meat dishes typical of mountain cuisine such as stew with polenta and game, it is fantastic accompanied by Fontina d'alpeggio and Toma di Gressoney.
