Description

Dos Almas Cabernet Sauvignon originates from the granite and gravel soils of the Valle del Maipo, the historic wine region of Chile.

After the harvest at the end of April, the must undergoes a period of maceration at low temperature in order to extract most of the aromas and color from the skins. At the end of the fermentation, the wine remains to refine for 70% in French oak barrels for 10 months and then, once assembled for a further 3 months in bottle.

On visual examination this wine is characterized by a deep and intense ruby red color. The nose expresses notes of strawberry, blueberry and cassis, enriched with hints of black pepper, caramel and tobacco. The sip is balanced and well structured, supported by a ripe tannin which guides towards a fruity and persistent finish.

Perfect in the company of a platter of aged cheeses, it is excellent in combination with grilled red meats.
