Venezia Giulia IGT Gossip 2016 Di Lenardo

The Venezia Giulia Pinot Grigio Gossip of the Cantina di Lenardo is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Ontagnano, in the heart of Friuli.

It is produced exclusively with Pinot Grigio grapes, harvested only by hand. The grapes undergo maceration on the skins for 18 hours and ferment in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently, the must remains in contact with the lees for a long period, before being bottled.

Gossip is characterized by a copper color, with bright reflections. The nose opens with elegant aromas of wild strawberries, enriched with pleasant hints of elderberry and dried roses. On the palate it is robust, pleasantly balanced and with a fresh acidity.

Perfect to accompany appetizers, it is ideal in combination with fish and shellfish dishes.
