Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico DOC Le Moie 2016 Fazi Battaglia

The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Le Moie comes from the homonymous vineyard of Fazi Battaglia, located in the Classic area of the Castelli di Jesi, in the Marche region. This wine represents the company's first Verdicchio Cru.

Made exclusively with Verdicchio grapes, selected and harvested by hand in different collections, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures; only 10% of the grapes are placed in barriques to rest. Follows the assembly and aging in glass for about 2 months.

Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Le Moie has a straw yellow color, with soft greenish reflections. The typical notes of the grape emerge on the nose; with hints of Golden apple and wisteria to dominate, and mineral and dried fruit aftertaste to complete the picture. In the mouth it shows a good flavor, excellent freshness and a delicate aromaticity that accompanies towards a persistent finish.

Excellent with soups and white meats, it finds its perfect companion in roasted fish.
