Luca Gardini
Vermentino of great cleanliness and sharpness. Notes of bergamot, peach with yellow pulp and sage on the nose, nice acidity and tension in the mouth, closing with citrus return and characteristic almond note.

Description

Its name means "beam of light". Vermentino di Gallura Spèra, produced by the Siddura winery, comes from the Sardinian north-east side.

It comes from vineyards located at 300 meters above sea level on sandy soils resulting from granite weathering. During the harvest, a careful selection of the healthiest and most beautiful grapes is made. Manual harvesting follows, between September and October. The soft pressing precedes the short maceration and alcoholic fermentation, carried out in steel tanks. In the same, the wine matures for a few months in contact with its own fine lees. Refine in the bottle for at least a month before being put on the market.

At sight it shows a beautiful straw yellow color, with some greenish reflections. Its bouquet tells of yellow fruit and aromatic herbs, also confirmed to the taste. With a good body, it is enlivened by a fresh and savory vein. It closes in a very pleasant almond finish.

Ideal to accompany an appetizer of baked scallops.
