Description

What type of wine is it

Rosat Spumante Brut Nature by Can Rich is a sparkling rosé from Ibiza made with Monastrell and Moscatel Grano Menudo. Produced with the Traditional Method and aged on the lees for 12 months, it has a creamy structure and a crisp aromatic profile. Distinguished by freshness and persistence, it's ideal both as an aperitif and at the table.

Where does it come from

The grapes come from the Buscastell estate in the heart of Ibiza. Their viticulture enhances local varieties and contributes to expressing the region’s character in the wine.

How is it made

Harvesting takes place at optimal ripeness to preserve acidity and aromatic clarity. After gentle pressing, phenolic extraction is kept low to give a delicate color and refined aromas. The second fermentation is carried out in the bottle through the Traditional Method, with 12 months aging on the lees to build creaminess and complexity, with disgorgement performed without adding sugar.

Tasting notes

The color is a pale pink with fine, continuous perlage. On the nose, notes of rose, lavender, menthol, wild strawberry, candied fruit, and hints of pastry appear. The palate is rich and vibrant, with well-integrated effervescence and the dry texture typical of Brut Nature. The finish is dry, long, and clean, balancing freshness and body.

Food pairings

Pairs well with delicate cold cuts and light starters thanks to its dryness and lively bubbles that cleanse the palate. With shellfish like prawns and langoustines, it enhances sweetness and saline notes. With soft cheeses it complements creaminess. It is also suitable for fish tapas and seafood paella, highlighting the wine’s persistence and freshness.

When to serve

Perfect for those seeking a dry, food-friendly rosé made with the Traditional Method, from aperitif to a seafood meal. Serve between 6 and 8 °C in tulip-shaped glasses to enhance the bubbles and aromas. Let the wine breathe for a few minutes before tasting. The impact is immediate with freshness, and cellaring potential is also excellent over time.
