Description

The twenty year old Samperi of the Marco de Bartoli winery was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Samperi, in the heart of western Sicily.

It is produced exclusively with Grillo grapes, harvested only by hand in late September. Fermentation takes place in barriques at controlled temperatures. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for an average of 20 years.

The Vecchio Samperi Ventennale is characterized by a golden yellow color, with amber reflections. The nose opens with an intense aromatic bouquet, with hints of candied citrus, enriched with aromas of fig and honey. On the palate it is full-bodied and enveloping, pleasantly full and warm.

Perfect to accompany aperitifs and aged cheeses, it is ideal in combination with dry desserts and pastries.
