Description
The Volnay of P. Dubrueil - Fontaine was born in vineyards located in Volnay, in the heart of the Côte d'Or , in Burgundy.
It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 15 months in oak barrels for 20% new, before being bottled.
This Volnay has a bright ruby red color. The nose opens with delicate fruity aromas of cherry and black currant. On the palate it is velvety and balanced, with fine and pleasant tannins.
Perfect to accompany fresh cheeses and cured meats, this wine is ideal in combination with noble poultry.
