Description
Knoll's Loibner Grüner Veltliner Federspiel originates from vineyards located in the Wachau wine region of Austria.
It consists of 100% Grüner Veltliner grapes, very common in the area. Being mostly a mountainous area, it is easy to find oneself in the presence of terraced vineyards which make mechanical work on the field impossible. The harvest therefore takes place manually and is the initial phase of a vinification aimed at preserving the varietal expression of the grape. Therefore, it ferments and vinifies in steel tanks only.
At sight it is straw yellow. The bouquet is typically marked on spice, like white pepper, and is enriched by a fruity trail and a mineral background. The sip confirms the character perceived by the nose and shows a good balance. A herbaceous note of aromatic herbs closes in a beautiful persistence.
