Located in San Vincenzo a Torri, in the Chianti sub-zone of the Colli Fiorentini, with vineyards stretching between Montespertoli and San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Uggiano is the brainchild of a group of entrepreneurs from the Bergamo area, whose passion for Tuscan wines is reflected in the production methods of French-trained oenologist Giuseppe Losapio.
Wines with the flavour of Tuscany, in the most traditional sense of the word, with an abundance of extracts and aromas, and aged for a long time in French oak barrels and barriques to best express the uniqueness of the terroir. These characteristics are echoed in wines such as the Syrà (94 pt LM) with its decisive and fruity touch, and the Chianti Riserva (90 pt LM), a universal and instantly identifiable wine with hints of red fruits and a great roundness, with pleasant tannins and perfect for winter dishes. Another wine to try is the Vermentino Prestige (93 pt LM), with a very pleasant body and very suitable for fish and white meat.
