Antica Fratta

Known among the locals as "el cantinù" (the cantinone) for the imposing size of its cellars, Antica Fratta is located in the villa of the Fratta district of Monticelli Brusati that Franco Ziliani, patron of Guido Berlucchi, took over in the 70s to make it the jewel of your group. Elegance, exclusivity, pleasantness are the characteristics that distinguish the winery which has the ambition to represent the very essence of Franciacorta with its precious range of bubbles.

Details make the difference, and Antica Fratta's approach to detail is different. A limited production, as well as cured, entrusted to selected partners: this is their idea of exclusivity. The Brut (91 pt. Robert Parker) and Satèn, both obtained from Chardonnay grapes after a stay on the lees for more than 24 months, are flanked by the vintage Rosé (92 pt.), Nature and the Riserva (93 pt.), An Extra Brut which ages for five years on the lees produced in only seven thousand bottles. The Franciacorta Brut Rosé Essence by Antica Fratta represents the elegance of Franciacorta, the perfect expression of an extraordinary terroir.

It is produced with 55% Pinot Noir grapes and 45% with Chardonnay grapes, harvested between the end of August and the beginning of September. The wine ages on the lees for 30 months and for a further 5-6 months in the bottle.
