Known among the locals as "el cantinù" (the cantinone) for the imposing size of its cellars, Antica Fratta is located in the villa of the Fratta district of Monticelli Brusati that Franco Ziliani, patron of Guido Berlucchi, took over in the 70s to make it the jewel of your group. Elegance, exclusivity, pleasantness are the characteristics that distinguish the winery which has the ambition to represent the very essence of Franciacorta with its precious range of bubbles.

Details make the difference, and Antica Fratta's approach to detail is different. A limited production, as well as cured, entrusted to selected partners: this is their idea of exclusivity. The Brut (91 pt. Robert Parker) and Satèn, both obtained from Chardonnay grapes after a stay on the lees for more than 24 months, are flanked by the vintage Rosé (92 pt.), Nature and the Riserva (93 pt.), An Extra Brut which ages for five years on the lees produced in only seven thousand bottles. The very elegant Essence Nature wins the 92 pt instead. James Suckling.
