Brut vs Extra Dry

When it comes to sparkling wines, the term Brut refers to a sparkling wine with less than 12 grams of residual sugar per litre, while Extra Dry sparkling wines are slightly sweeter, with more residual sugar. The differences in dosage can affect taste and food pairing: Brut sparkling wine is generally crisp to the palate and pleasantly dry, making it a good choice for pairing with savoury dishes, fish dishes and appetisers; Extra Dry sparkling wine, on the other hand, has a slightly sweeter taste, more suitable for aperitifs. Choose your favourite flavour and enjoy your next toast: Brut or Extra Dry, which side are you on?
