Jinzu Gin - Japanese botanicals with a touch of Sake

A combination of British gin and delicate oriental flavors , Jinzu is a creation by the English bartender Dee Davies, who took inspiration from his trip to Japan to create a unique recipe that quickly became a cult among the new generation gins .

Perfected by the master distiller of Tanqueray, it is produced by distillation in traditional copper stills starting from the cherry blossom and yuzu citrus botanicals, to which is added a final touch of sake , which adds a soft and round taste to the distillate.

Jinzu is a parallel project carried out by the Cameronbridge distillery in Edinburgh which operates under the Diageo wing. It is the gin whose recipe was made by the professional bartender Dee Davis, which allowed him to win the 2013 "Show Your Spirit" race organized by Diageo herself.
