In the heart of the wild and unspoiled Scottish island of Skye, this distillery was founded, founded by the brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskills in 1830: Talisker is one of the most famous producers of Single Malt Scotch Whiskey. Talisker Scotch Whiskey was the whiskey preferred by great writers such as Robert Louis Stevenson and Henry Morton Vollam.
The peculiarity of this whiskey is the turbidity: for its production, in fact, not only particularly peated malt is used, but also water that flows on peat deposits, which gives the distillate a particular salty, unmistakable flavor. Next to the classic 10 year version, spiced, smoked and brackish, the range consists of two No Age Statements, "Skye" and "Storm": the first, aged in toasted barrels and refills, is easier to drink; while the second (93 pt. Wine Enthusiast), pungent like a storm, increases Talisker's wolf soul.
