Terlano , in the heart of the northernmost province of Italy, where the alpine spiers gently slope towards Mediterranean landscapes and the cultures blend harmoniously between of them. The wine village of Terlano is located halfway between the cities of Bolzano and Merano. The winery was founded in 1893 , and since then Terlano has connoted itself as a production area for white wines , and over time has consolidated its vocation. Today Terlano continues to produce mostly white wines, without neglecting red wines . Lagrein and Gries are a masterful example: the first is a red obtained from pure Lagrein grapes and stands out for its aromatic bouquet and for its very full and velvety profile; the second was born in the Bolzano district of Gries, which has always been considered the ideal place for Lagrein viticulture . Among the whites, the flagship of the cellar, one cannot fail to mention Quarz, a sparkling yellow wine with an exotic and captivating bouquet, notes of mango and papaya, lime and red grapefruit, as well as Winkl, a Sauvignon Blanc in purity whose first vintage dates back to 1956 . The Vorberg range (4 Viti Ais) closes in beauty, with its fruity notes that emerge vigorous, creamy and fleshy, and with a distinctly mineral finish. Try them and you will thank us .
