Description

La Malpagada is a white wine from the regions of Soria and Burgos, in the Ribera del Duero, Castilla y León. It is made from 100% Albillo Mayor grapes.

The winemaking process involves fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aging on its lees for over 6 months in new 225-liter French oak barrels. 15% of the total ferments in barrique in contact with the skins, giving the wine greater complexity.

The wine shows an attractive golden color, reflecting its aging in barrels. On the nose, it offers a complex aromatic bouquet with notes of peach, bakery, brioche, and honey. On the palate, it stands out for its creaminess and volume with a pleasant acidity that provides balance.

This white wine is ideal to pair with baked fish dishes or white meats.
