Description
Roma Bianco from the Federici winery is made from Malvasia Puntinata, a native grape of Lazio widespread throughout the Castelli Romani area. The production benefits from the proximity to volcanic soil that reaches the municipality of Zagarolo on the southwest side of Rome.
The winery processes the grapes at low temperatures to preserve the aromas and fragrances. The wine’s expressive and characterful minerality is achieved through fermentation and aging in stainless steel at a controlled temperature.
A wine with an intense and bright yellow color, it reveals aromas of peach and apricot jam, orange peel, acacia, and aromatic herbs. Medium-bodied, it envelops the palate with a persistent finish, balancing notes of fruit and flowers.
Particularly suited to fish and shellfish, it can also accompany fresh and semi-aged cheeses.
