Description
The Gewurztraminer Furstentum from Domaine Albert Mann is an aromatic white wine produced in the commune of Kientzheim, in Alsace, on limestone soils with south and southeast exposure. The vines, over 30 years old, are cultivated using biodynamic methods in one of the most renowned crus of the region, capable of imparting intensity, freshness, and great ageing potential to the wines.
This wine is made from 100% Gewurztraminer grapes, vinified with a careful process that prioritizes the balance between aromatic richness and freshness. The winemaking approach aims to enhance the natural expressiveness of the grape variety, offering a generous wine but also capable of great finesse and longevity.
On the nose, it expresses intense and complex aromas of violet, fresh rose, citrus, and spices. The palate is broad, velvety, and elegant, with a clear and seductive acidity leading to a spicy, airy, and pure finish. It is a Gewurztraminer with a structured yet harmonious texture, appreciated both young and after long aging.
Perfect with prawn pilpil and basmati rice, beef samosas with spiced mayonnaise, vanilla Bourbon roasted pineapple, or foie gras terrine with mango chutney.
