Südtirol - Alto Adige DOC Carned 2017 Cantina Caldaro

Kerner Carned was born in the vineyards in Caldaro di Kellerei-Kaltern, immersed in the splendid and prestigious setting of South Tyrol.

Obtained exclusively from Kerner grapes, harvested late, the must of this wine is left to ferment very slowly at a stable temperature of 18 ° C (half in oak barrels). This process is followed by the maturation phase, carried out on the fine lees for five months. The wine is finally filtered and then bottled.

Kerner Carned is characterized by an intense yellow color. The nose offers fruity and typical aromas of the grape, with bewitching notes of peach, mango and coconut milk to take the stage. In the mouth, despite an excellent structure, the wine shows an easy drink, thanks to a full-bodied, slightly sweet taste.

Ideal with light appetizers and vegetarian dishes based on asparagus or eggs, it combines divinely with grilled fish and fresh cut cheeses.
