Description

This red wine produced by Tenuta J. Hofstätter is a Pinot Noir coming from the Herbsthöfl vineyard in Mazon, a territory known for its winemaking excellence. The glacial origin soil, composed of limestone and sand, gives the wine a unique complexity that reflects the distinctive character of the Alto Adige region.

The vinification process involves fermentation in cement vats followed by one year of aging in barriques and a further year in large barrels. After this phase, the wine matures further in the bottle, ensuring a well-balanced aromatic and structural profile.

With an intense ruby color, the nose perceives elegant notes of berries, cherries, and sweet spices, enriched by floral nuances. On the palate, it is smooth and velvety, with fine tannins and a persistent finish that expresses great elegance and harmony.

It pairs perfectly with red meats, lamb, and game, enhancing their flavors with its structure and complexity.
