Description

Amarone della Valpolicella Dal Cero was born in the vineyards of the Venetian company, located in the towns of San Briccio and Lavagno, in the province of Verona.

This wine comes to life thanks to a skilful blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, harvested manually between the last ten days of September and the first of October. The grapes are then left to rest in the fruit cellar for 3-4 months for drying, and then be pressed and macerated on the skins for 15-20 days. The must then matures for 4 years in tonneaux and 20 hl barrels, then refines in glass for a short period.

Wine of considerable thickness and elegance, Amarone Dal Cero shows a beautiful deep ruby color. The nose has very fine and powerful aromas of ripe fruit and a very interesting mix of spices. On the palate it is warm and refined in tannins, for an overall structure to be totally enjoyed.

This wine shows a very good aging potential. It goes well with roasts, game and aged cheeses but it is also excellent tasted alone, as a meditation wine.
