Description
Niviana's Amarone della Valpolicella comes from vineyards located in the province of Verona, within the famous Venetian appellation. The grapes used are the classic Amarone varieties: Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara.
The grapes are dried for about 3 months in well-ventilated drying rooms to prevent the formation of mold. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in 50hl oak barrels for 10 months before being bottled.
Intense ruby red in color with garnet hues, the wine reveals on the nose aromas of wilted rose, spirit-soaked black cherry, as well as ethereal and spicy notes. The palate is robust and velvety, with a harmonious and persistent finish.
Excellent paired with baked pasta dishes, cheese gnocchi, and braised game.
