Description
The Bagnoli Classico Rosso Riserva of the Il Dominio winery is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Bagnoli di Sopra, in the heart of the homonymous DOC.
It is produced with a blend of native and international vines: Merlot, Cabernet, Friularo and Carmenere. After the October harvest, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Subsequently the wine ages for 27 months in small and large oak barrels, before being bottled.
It has an intense ruby red color, tending to garnet. The nose opens with aromas of blackberries and dried plums, enriched with notes of cinnamon, tobacco and cocoa. On the palate it is elegant and balanced, with a long and persistent finish that follows the fruity and spicy sensations perceived by the nose.
Perfect to serve with first courses based on meat sauce and game.
