Description
Giacomo Fenocchio's Barbera D'Alba Superiore was born in vineyards located in the lands of Monforte d'Alba in Piedmont, from a company that concentrates its production around the great red wines.
It is produced exclusively with Barbera grapes, harvested in mid-October. Fermentation takes place in contact with the skins, without adding yeasts, in stainless steel tanks for 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 10 months and for a further period in the bottle.
This Barbera is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a vinous bouquet, with elegant typical Barbera aromas. On the palate it is pleasantly dry and full-bodied, with a pleasant and marked acidity. The wine has a full and harmonious body.
Perfect to accompany red and white meats, it is ideal in combination with first courses and aged cheeses.
