Description
Bric Amel by Marchesi di Barolo is a dry white wine made exclusively from Sauvignon grapes grown in the hills of the Langhe. The term "Bric" refers to the typical local high grounds, while "Amel" means honey; the calcareous soils with quartz-rich sands and fine clays offer ideal conditions for the aromatic expression of the variety, ensuring the wine an equilibrated structure and a strong territorial identity.
After the harvest, the grapes undergo white fermentation at controlled temperature to preserve their primary aromas; ageing takes place in stainless steel, fully maintaining freshness and fragrance, without any wood influence.
It shows a pale straw yellow color with greenish highlights; on the nose, it offers intense scents of peach and apricot, enriched by notes of almond, acacia, and hawthorn. On the palate, it is fresh, savory, and light, with a delicate mineral profile that accompanies a vibrant and persistent taste, leaving a pleasant aromatic finish.
Perfect paired with delicate yet flavorsome starters, light first courses, boiled or stewed white meats, and dishes based on raw or marinated fish.
