Description
This Barolo by Roberto Voerzio comes from the prestigious cru of Cerequio, considered one of the most important of the entire denomination.
The harvest gives rich and ripe bunches which are harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October. The must undergoes fermentation in steel. The wine ages for 24 months in barrique and for 8 months in steel and then remains for a further 8 months in the bottle where it perfects its taste-olfactory characteristics.
In the glass it is presented with a ruby red dress and a rich and expressive bouquet that recalls now raspberry and cherry, now rose and tobacco. On the palate it has a good softness and a good body that gives persistence.
Ideal to accompany stewed meats or game, it is perfect to combine with a nice platter of aged cheeses.
