Description

The Barolo Bricco delle Viole di Vajra was born in the Bricco delle Viole vineyard of the same name, located in the municipality of Barolo.

It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place on the skins at controlled temperature for about 30-40 days. Subsequently the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for a period of 42-48 months, before being bottled.

Bricco delle Viole is characterized by a bright ruby color. The nose opens with hints of cherries, hazelnuts and dark berries, enriched with pleasant aromas of rose and violet. On the palate it is noble and silky tannins, with a long finish of fresh and delicate spices.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with first courses with meat sauce and aged cheeses.
