Description
The Ceretto family has been producing great wines in the Langhe for almost a century. Today, they manage an extensive estate that includes renowned vineyards in the prestigious Barolo crus: Brunate, Bussia, Bricco Rocche, Prapò, Cannubi San Lorenzo and in Barbaresco: Asili, Bernadot and Gallina.
The Barolo Prapò is born in the territory of Serralunga d’Alba, from a vineyard that enjoys a particularly cool microclimate, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly. After classic red wine vinification with skin maceration, the Barolo rests for 24 months in oak barrels and completes its aging period in the bottle.
Structure and elegance blend in this great wine with a garnet red color, exuding aromas of balsamic herbs, licorice root, dried flowers, red fruits, undergrowth, and spices. The palate is important, with lively tannins and complex, deep aromas.
Perfect with braised meats, game, and roast beef.
