Description
Barolo del Comune di Castiglione Falletto is produced by Boroli in the heart of the Langhe, made from Nebbiolo grapes grown on clay and limestone soils with a presence of sand. The vineyards, located in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, express a precise, territorial style, characterized by structure and finesse.
Vinification involves crushing and destemming followed by fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature and prolonged maceration under a submerged cap. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matures in large oak barrels and subsequently in bottle, achieving balance and complexity.
It appears with a brilliant red color. On the nose, it offers a fresh and vibrant bouquet with citrus notes of orange and grapefruit peel, accompanied by hints of rose petals and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is powerful and balanced, with a robust structure and a finish marked by elegant mineral nuances.
It pairs perfectly with red meats, braised dishes, and aged cheeses.
