Description
The Beaune 1er Cru Les Perrières from Domaine de Montille is a Pinot Noir of great elegance and structure, originating from a parcel of just 0.64 hectares located on marl and very stony soils at the top of the Beaune coteau, near the climat Les Fèves. This Premier Cru embodies the minerality and depth typical of its terroir, offering a refined and long-lived expression of the Côte de Beaune.
Vinification involves fermentation in large wooden vats, with the use of 33% whole bunches to preserve freshness and complexity. Maturation takes place in barriques, 20% of which are new, respecting the identity of the fruit and the soil.
On tasting, the wine reveals a straight and vertical profile; on the nose, delicate woody notes emerge, accompanied by fresh red fruits. On the palate, it is already soft and elegant, with silky tannins and a vibrant energy that promises a shining future after 3-5 years of bottle ageing.
Perfectly paired with rack of lamb or roast duck.
