Description

Bolgheri Gattabuia by Piccini is an example of the adaptability demonstrated by Bordelaise grape varieties in the Maremma territory, which has led to a revolution in wine history.

Produced from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, it is the result of a traditional red fermentation with maceration on the skins. It matures for 12 months in barrique, where its aromatic profile can fully evolve.

It shows an intense ruby red color. Complex notes of licorice and coffee introduce mineral hints and vanilla aromas, paving the way for a palate marked by smoothness and elegance, exceptionally deep and persistent.

We recommend pairing it with a platter of aged cheeses or game meat.
