Description

Campo al Faro's Bolgheri Superiore is born in Castagneto Carducci, in the heart of the magical Bolgheri terroir.

The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes that make up the blend are hand-selected. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks with extended maceration on the skins. The final aging lasts 16 months in French oak barriques, half of which are new, followed by another 6 months of bottle refinement.

The wine pours a deep ruby color into the glass. The bouquet features broad and complex spicy notes and wild berry aromas. On the palate, it reveals its power and minerality, standing out within a complex structure.

Excellent with main courses of red meat and game dishes, it also pairs well with first courses and medium to long-aged cheeses.
