Description

Brunello di Montalcino Prètto is a wine produced by Giodo in the Montalcino area, made from Sangiovese grapes grown on medium-textured soils rich in stones, at an altitude of about 360 meters. This wine represents an authentic expression of the denomination, combining territorial depth with stylistic elegance.

The vinification includes an extended skin maceration in steel and cement vats, with controlled alcoholic fermentation and techniques such as délestage to encourage balanced extraction. The aging takes place in wooden barrels of varying sizes, followed by a period in cement and a long stay in bottle, which contributes to its complexity and harmony.

It shows a bright, deep ruby red color. On the nose, clear notes of red fruit emerge, accompanied by floral highlights, earthy nuances, fine spices and balsamic hints. On the palate it is vibrant and dynamic, with noticeable freshness and precise, fine-grained tannins, offering an elegant, persistent sip with a clean finish.

It pairs perfectly with roasts, braised meats, red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
