Description

This Brunello di Montalcino was born in the Ridolfi estate located in the so-called Mercatali locality, on the north-east side of the Montalcino hill.

At the end of the harvest, which takes place manually at the beginning of October, we proceed with a slow fermentation in steel for 50-60 days with maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature of 26 ° C. The refinement lasts for 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels and for at least 12 months in the bottle.

In the glass it shows a ruby red dress. On the nose it expresses aromas of fresh fruit, aging wood and sweet spices. On the palate it shows a remarkable structure, with a well integrated tannic texture in a body with a fresh taste and a strong personality.

It is a great Tuscan red that finds its gastronomic consecration with structured dishes based on red meats and game, both furred and feathered. Also excellent for meditation.
